A bit about me

My first passion in life is Biology. I became an Evolutionary Biologist after studying for 4 years at the University of Southampton and now I work as an A-level Biology Lecturer at a local College.
But something I have always loved to do is read. Reading is one of my favourite hobbies because I love to lose myself in another world and let my mind relax. This pastime got me through my degree and master of research thesis and now it allows me to unwind after a week of delivering lectures.
During my time at University, I realised that I have a particular interest in psychological thrillers because I love to try and solve the mysteries and basically play detective. When I was much younger I had an idea to become a police detective and be just like Clarice Starling from The Silence of the Lambs. Unfortunately my love for Evolutionary Biology was too strong, so I didn't pursue this childhood idea.
But luckily, thanks to all the incredible authors out there, I have a way to continue pursuing my interest in psychological thriller stories and can continue to be my very own crime detective in my free time.
